Pair of vintage framed scherenschnitte set against matte black paper. One is framed in a burl wood and the other in a natural wood and gold, both of which nicely complement each other. Scherenschnitte originated from German and Swiss folk art and translates to "scissor cuts". It later became a popular form of Pennsylvania Dutch folk art. Each is approximately 11.25" x 9.25"
